- I have some concerns.
- We don't know anything about this dragon and we don't have many credible sources of information about it.
- I still don't trust the Mercury Hammer's magic.
- Viktor hasn't tried this with something like this before.
- I have no idea what to expect.

Today was about establishing baseline for control purposes. I offered myself as the subject becauseeven after ev Viktor is more or less familiar with the way my mind works.

- I experienced the astral plane for the first time.
It was beautiful - Tested a few variables:
- How much strain the connection could take if I tried to resist
- Trying to communicate
- The best way to pull Viktor out of it if something goes wrong

Another attempt to navigate the astral plane. It's overwhelming but incredibly intuitive. Moving around was difficult at first but after some instruction, it was easier. I tried to convince Viktor to not push too hard but as predicted, that made him do the opposite.
A bad memory surfaced and we had to stop.
I'm putting a pause on this for a few days.

I been thinking about this. There are still someglaring concerns I have about trying to communicate with this thing, but I can't help but be curious, too. And if we can help it? Or stop this from happening to something (or someone) else? I'm willing to try.
But we set some rules.

But we set some rules.
- I can put a stop to an attempt if I think there's a danger to anyone involved.
- This is the biggest one. Viktor is stubborn.
- One attempt a day.
- Breaks need to happen.

Another memory surfaced, but we used it for testing purposes.
Adjustment to variable:
- A strong emotion makes it easier to destabilize the connection
- I managed to push him out this time

Communication Tests
Goal: Determine the cause of the dragon attack through connecting with it on the astral plane and reviewing its memories.
Constants:
- Maintain safe connection to subject
- Strong memories can destabilize connection
- This means I need to stay calm
- Escape route is mapped, including alternate paths, if necessary.

Test #3: Failure.
Tentative connection made. Subject wary. I stayed back as far as I was comfortable being in an attempt not to frighten it more.
Subject became hostile after an hour and I pulled us out.

Test #5: Failure.
Connection made. Subject forced us both out after 43 minutes after we tried to move deeper into it's psyche.
I'm worried about Viktor. I'm going to suggest we take a break.

Test #6: Failure.
Connection made. Subject cautiously receptive. No hostility at first, but I pulled us out after 2 hours and 49 minutes. I was worried about the strain on Viktor and the subject.
I might be holding us back.

Communication Tests
Test #8: Success
Stable connection made. It seemed like she trusted us and the slow progress worked in our favor.
Data:
"Now now, don't you want to have some fun?"
Attack happened right after this encounter. It's like there was a complete lack of control on her part.
Conclusion: Someone did something to that dragon. But what? And who?
Whatever they did put it in a severe amount of pain. Accessing those memories ended up severing our connection after 12 minutes.
We have a lot to review. Recommend against attempting to access these memories again without further study. Subject appeared to be extremely distressed before we lost connection.

Stable connection made. It seemed like she trusted us and the slow progress worked in our favor.
Data:
- There is so much pain. I can still feel it.
- Talk to Viktor about this.
- Viktor commented that her memories seemed... tampered with, or muddled. Like even she doesn't know what happened.
- Someone was there and touched her.
- No distinguishing features?
- Related to the memory block?
- Review notes on glamour***
- No distinguishing features?
- I heard the words but there was no sound?
- Can't identify any features of the voice.
- Seems like she didn't want to do any of this.
